2022-23 PVL Updates

PVL Directors, Administrators, Coaches, Officials, & Families,

Over the past two club seasons, it has been our pleasure and privilege to serve the needs of the Southern California region by providing the premier tournament destination for girls volleyball.

The PVL is proud to have stood by our mission statement of keeping our member clubs’ needs at the forefront while promoting the sport of volleyball through an organized, thoughtful, and consumer-friendly approach to tournament play.

In the spirit of our core values of providing the highest level of service and excellent communication to our members, we are sharing the following update.

Effective for this upcoming 2022-2023 girl’s club volleyball season, in the interest in building a single unified Power League and regional tournament structure, the PVL will not be providing tournament play and is releasing control of its operations.

We are confident that the SCVA and its new leadership team will utilize the PVL’s past initiative and innovation to benefit the region, and steer Southern California volleyball to ongoing success. The PVL supports the SCVA in this transition.

Please note that going forward, any and all operational questions (registration, scheduling, etc.) should be directed to the SVCA.

We hope you have enjoyed being part of the PVL’s successful endeavor. We want to thank PVL’s Executive Director Ki Yi, PVL staff, officials, and our participating clubs, directors, and families. Thank you also to our partnering facilities for their time and efforts in hosting our events in the last two seasons!

Please join us in wishing the SCVA and its new leadership team the best of luck in growing our sport in the region.
